52Q: 42 (holiday)

here's a bit of a christmassy 52Q for ya!

question 42: what's your favorite holiday?

(materials front & back: patterned paper: hambly, fancy pants, dcwv, prima, ki, basic grey, mustard moon, creative imaginations; vinyl alphas: staples; pearls: kaiser; epoxy hearts: paperchase; xmas stickers: love elsie & making memories; pens: uniball, sakura, copic & galaxy; inks: colorbox)

text reads, "i ♥ christmas. i ♥ twinkling lights & sparkly decorations. i ♥ holiday movies & cheesy tv speicals. i ♥ wrapping presents & making cards. i ♥ bayberry candles and the scent of freshly cut pine. and i really REALLY ♥ all kinds of christmas music!"

as you can see, i am still VERY MUCH into my tearing phase. (i don't know why ripping paper into small pieces is so very satisfying at the moment, but it is! and heck, i figure it's cheaper and more convenient than therapy, right?) not only did every bit of paper on this thing come from the scrap file, the bits which compose the tree were all very small strips indeed! which is a bit of a pity: projects like this utterly validate my appreciable pack-rat tendencies. maybe i will make lots of small torn trees for my holiday cards and try to use up the rest of the embarrassingly small scraps!

  3. Adorable tree!

Lauren, if it is your favorite holiday, why do you wait until the ride home from T-giving to play Christmas music? It is already Nov. 4th...I have refrained from playing any at all after reading your comment, but I don't think I can hold out much longer...
